Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and access issues work for purchases of English Group Chat memberships and related WhatsApp community access. We want every buyer to understand the policy before purchasing, and we want support requests handled fairly.
1. Digital Access Starts Immediately
English Group Chat sells access to private digital communities. After a successful payment, we make the invite link available on the confirmation page and also send access instructions by email. Because access can be delivered instantly, refund eligibility depends on the status of your invite, the reason for the request, and whether we can resolve the issue quickly.
2. Refund Eligibility
You may request a refund by contacting us within 14 days of purchase if one of these applies:
- You paid but did not receive access, and we cannot fix the access issue within 48 hours after you contact support.
- You were charged twice for the same membership by mistake.
- You purchased the wrong membership and have not redeemed the invite or joined the group.
- You made an accidental purchase and have not redeemed the invite or joined the group.
If you have already redeemed the invite, joined the group, or used the membership, refund requests are reviewed case by case. We may offer replacement access, migration to the correct group, a partial refund, or another reasonable resolution depending on the situation.
3. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are generally not available in these cases:
- You were removed for violating our Terms of Service, group rules, safety standards, or member privacy.
- You voluntarily left the group after successfully joining and later changed your mind.
- You shared, leaked, resold, or misused invite links or member information.
- You provided incorrect contact information and did not contact us to correct it within a reasonable time.
- You are requesting a refund more than 14 days after purchase, unless required by applicable consumer law.
4. Subscriptions and Future Renewals
Most English Group Chat memberships are currently sold as one-time purchases. If we offer a subscription product, you may cancel future renewals before the next billing date. Canceling a subscription stops future charges but does not automatically refund charges that have already been processed. Refunds for subscription charges are reviewed under the eligibility rules above.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request help or a refund, email support@englishgroupchat.com with:
- The email address used at checkout.
- Your Lemon Squeezy order number or receipt, if available.
- A short explanation of the issue.
- Relevant screenshots, such as a missing invite email, expired invite link, or duplicate charge.
We aim to respond within 2 business days. If a refund is approved, we will process it through Lemon Squeezy. Your bank, card provider, or payment method may take additional time to show the refund on your statement.
6. Payment Processor Review
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy may review refund requests, disputes, fraud signals, chargebacks, or tax-related refund requests according to its own buyer terms and payment policies. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer rights that apply in your country or region.
